I saw this on the London Underground, shortly after I returned to the UK after Tim died.

Having a martini for you Timbo.

I tried to do an entry on the 25th Jan but couldn’t get onto the website so my birthday message is a bit delayed. I had a few pilsners to celebrate though! xoxoxoxo
I saw Happy Feet the other day. It reminded me of a memory of Tim. Whenever we were lying in bed together, Tim would always move his feet alot. I remember saying to him once ‘why do you do that?’ He answered ‘because I have happy feet when Im with you.’ I then proceeded to sing that happy feet song out of Strictly Ballroom – you may or may not know it but Tim did. Then for my birthday that year, he tracked down the song and played it in the car to me at Strezleki Point as part of my present.
A nice memory.
Happy 30th my boy. You are always in my thoughts.
With the help of another of Tim’s brothers, Scott – network engineer extraordinaire – we were able to get the webserver back up tonight after a week or so of very poorly-timed downtime. Apologies for that.
I was thinking on Thursday about what I did for my 30th. I was lucky enough to be snowboarding in Canada, a trip we had invited Tim & Lucy along to (unfortunately they weren’t able to make it). It’s a tragedy that Timbo didn’t get to enjoy that transition; it was certainly a big one for me.
Anyway, whatever you would have been doing for your 30th Tim, I’m sure it would have been grand. I’m having a whiskey for you mate.
This weekend there was an article on Sudden Adult Death Syndrome in the Courier Mail QWeekend supplement. I’ve scanned it for all to read if you’re interested. It makes a small mention of Tim.

Was thinking about how much life has changed since this day three years ago. 3 Years ago I was working at Compaq at the time, I was 26 years old, it was the weekend and I was sipping beers at Waverly Bowling Green then going to meet Radsy at the Beach Road.
I left Compaq one month after, I am now 29, its a Wednesday, I am not sipping beers currently and I can’t meet Radsy at the Beach Road.
When I think about things that challenge me…I always revert back to that day and think “nothing can compare to that…therefore most things are easy”
This year’s anniversary kind of snuck up on me. It’s not that I think of Tim less, but I guess that I think more now about his life than his death. I have a photo of him up on the bookshelf in the living room, and still toast him every time I open a Pils. He used to love that beer.
Anyway, here’s to you Timbo.
Last week I opened a fortune cookie, the first I’ve opened in years. Inside was the message “Do or do not, there is no try”.
